This Standard Maintenance Cleaning Checklist is used once a home has been brought to maintenance level through an initial deep cleaning. These tasks are performed on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule to maintain a consistently clean, comfortable, and stress-free home for our Wichita-area clients.

Bedrooms

1. Ceiling fans dusted as needed (if reachable)

2. Mirrors cleaned and streak-free

3. Wall hangings dusted and cleaned

4. Windowsills dusted and cleaned

5. Molding, corners, and door trim dusted and cleaned

6. High-touch surfaces cleaned (light switches, doorknobs)

7. Furniture dusted and cleaned

8. Baseboards dusted and cleaned

9. Beds made and linens changed (if fresh linens are provided)

10. Trash emptied and bag replaced

11. Exterior of trash can wiped down

12. Floors vacuumed or swept (closet floors vacuumed if clear)

13. Floors washed

14. Room left neat and tidy

Hallways & Common Areas

1. Ceiling fans dusted as needed (if reachable)

2. Mirrors cleaned and streak-free

3. Wall hangings dusted and cleaned

4. Windowsills dusted and cleaned

5. Molding, corners, and door trim dusted and cleaned

6. High-touch surfaces cleaned (light switches, doorknobs)

Kitchen

1. Ceiling fans dusted as needed (if reachable)

2. Cabinet and cupboard fronts spot cleaned

3. Exterior of refrigerator cleaned; top dusted if uncluttered

4. Wall hangings and windowsills dusted and cleaned

5. Molding, corners, and door trim dusted and cleaned

6. High-touch surfaces cleaned (light switches, appliance handles)

7. Backsplash cleaned and splatter-free

8. Exterior of countertop appliances wiped clean

9. Microwave cleaned inside and out; area underneath cleaned

10. Countertops cleaned (items removed and replaced when possible)

11. Exterior of stove and dishwasher cleaned

12. Faucet cleaned (top, under handle, sides, and around caulking)

13. Sink scrubbed and washed (if dishes are not present)

14. Table, chairs, and bar stools dusted and cleaned

15. Baseboards dusted and cleaned

16. Trash emptied and bag replaced
